The Rockpoint Industrial team works seamlessly with the Rockpoint and Rockhill teams to identify, underwrite, acquire, and manage industrial investments in target markets. Rockpoint Industrial is celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2026; it officially launched in February 2021 when Rockpoint partnered with Ben Harris. Rockpoint has made 16 industrial investments since 2020, representing more than 15 million square feet across the U.S.

Ben Harris is the Head of Rockpoint Industrial. Prior to the formation of Rockpoint Industrial, Mr. Harris was the CEO of LINK Logistics Real Estate, Blackstone’s sole U.S. industrial platform, and prior to that served as the President of Gramercy Property Trust, a public industrial REIT and Head of US Investments for W. P. Carey & Co. Mr. Harris graduated from University of Kings College and Dalhousie University in Canada with dual degrees in Economics. Mr. Harris sits on the boards of Storage Vault Canada Inc. (TSX:SVI) and Sonida Senior Living Inc. (NYSE:SNDA).

 

James Munsell is a Managing Director at Rockpoint Industrial and focused on investment and asset management activities. Mr. Munsell is based in Boston. Prior to joining Rockpoint Industrial in 2022, Mr. Munsell worked at CBRE Investment Management for eight years, most recently as the Regional Head of East Coast Logistics Investments. During his tenure, Mr. Munsell has completed over $9 billion in industrial investments totaling more than 63 million square feet across a range of strategies and risk profiles. Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Mr. Munsell worked at Schochet Companies in the Acquisitions and Development group for six years. Mr. Munsell received a B.S. in Business Management from Keene State College.
