Aaron Matthews

Aaron Matthews serves as Rockpoint’s Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, focusing on legal, compliance and risk management activities. Mr. Matthews is based in Rockpoint’s Dallas office. Prior to joining Rockpoint in 2018, Mr. Matthews worked at Blue River Partners in the legal and compliance department for five years. Prior to joining Blue River Partners, Mr. Matthews worked at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in the retail banking department for two years. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, Mr. Matthews served as a Combat Engineer in the United States Marine Corps for four years. Mr. Matthews received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
